Resin Rose 2020 has been officially moved to 2021. Our venue, Monarch Hotel, has decided to cancel the remainder of any large gathering events from now through august to ensure they can continue to adhere to the state of Oregon's health and safety guidelines.
Resin Rose: Fairy Tales will be held on August 13th-15th 2021.
So what is going to happen now?
Regarding Rooms:
Monarch hotel will be canceling all hotel reservations made using the Resin Rose group code. You do not need to call to cancel your hotel reservation if you made the reservation using our group code. if you made a room reservation but did not use our group code please call the monarch hotel at 503-652-1515 to cancel your room.
Regarding Passes and Vendor packages:
All passes and Vendor packages will be transferred to the 2021 show.
If you have already paid in full for your pass or vendor package you do not need to do anything to have your tickets moved. We will be continuing as normal for the 2021 event carrying over layout, merch, planned events and activities, but a year out from now.
If you have not paid in-full for a vendor package, you will have until July 14th to pay your table in full or the spot will be forfeit and you will need to sign up again durring the 2021 sign up period.
If you can not attend the 2021 event, please email us and we will discuss possible options.

Back for a Sixth year, the Resin Rose BJD Expo is hosting another show! Resin Rose will return to the Monarch Hotel on August August 13th-15th of 2021! If you have any trouble with the forms or don't hear back from us to confirm your registration, please email us at resinrosebjdexpo@gmail.com. We will again be in Clackamas Oregon at the Monarch Hotel and Conference Center. The hotel features free parking, as well as a free shuttle to and from the airport for your convenience. It is also close to the Trimet MAX green line, a mall, and I205. Near by are many shopping and eating options as well as an onsite restaurant and bar. However, we support artists rights and are strictly anti-recast. Volunteers & Panel Hosts
Interested in being a volunteer?
We need people willing to commit at least 2 days, with 3-5 hours/per day. If accepted as a volunteer you will receive a 2-day pass in exchange for your time. We would prefer people with prior expo/con experience but any may apply. If interested, please fill out this application and email it to resinroseexpovolunteers@gmail.com for review. Theme: Fairy Tales
Our theme for 2021 is Fairy tales. Beware The Big Bad Wolf, and leave a trail of crumbs so you don't get lost in the forrest! This year's theme is Fairy Tales. Everything from princesses in towers with long locks of hair to those more Grim and dark with mermaids turned to sea foam, and children lured away by witches with sweets! Bring out your poisoned apples and glass slippers. 2021 will be full of whimsy and delight.
We're looking for all forms fairy tales, including those that are darker or more obscure. Have a local fairy tale from your region? Share it with us.
