On a stroll through the woods you come across a beautiful, teal-blue pond. Its banked by reeds and moss. the surface scattered with lilly pads and water hyacinth of all sizes.
you take a seat near the waters edge on an old fallen log, covered with moss and mushrooms, taking in the wonder of it all. Suddenly you notice a flicker of shimmer on one of the lilly pads, rainbow hues shimmer and shine among the wash of blue-green saucers. "are those wings?" you murmur. "Why YES they are!" announces a small croaky voice. As your eyes focus you can finally see what the shimmery wings are attached too, a Frog! a soft, pastel mint green against the darker plate of green. On his back the most beautiful, fancy wings, that shine and shimmer with all the colors of the rainbow. "OH!" you gasp, jumping to your feet. The little frog raises one arm and smiles. Meet Mr. Frog: Resin Rose 2020/2022 exclusive BJD.
This adorable little fellow will be sold as a pre-order before RR2020 and in a very limited quantity (if stock permits) at the Resin Rose 2022 show! Mr. Frog's body will be pro-cast by Haru Casting in Unique Forest green and his wings will be 3D-printed, in glitter resin of varying shades. Each frog will have a unique OOAK pair of wings! Frogs are sent randomly, please do not request a wing color! Mr. Frog is shown in his promo photos with a milky-clear pair of 3D printed wings. Each pair of wings will be made using a crystal clear base resin, random glitter additives and a dyes to create a truly one of a kind pair of wings for each frog. Example to the right is only a mockup of possible colors, and does not represent the product outcome. |
