Intro to Blythe Customizing with Bebe Blythe- by Casie Brabham- Lecture/Demo- This informational presentation will cover all the things you need to know to customize your first Blythe doll. There will be an overview of the history of custom Blythe dolls as will be a demo on supplies and the customizing process.

Crazy BJD Dating Game- Hosted by Ajax- Lecture/Game- Is your doll looking for love? Help them meet their special someone in this fun, crazy memorable roleplay event. In this game Kings and Queen will be randomly selected to ask five questions of our random suitors to find their perfect match. Three date scenes will be provided for first date photo opportunities for the King and Queen their suitors.  1 hour runtime. No Fees

What Sculpt is this anyway? by Sen Manna- Gameshow- Think you know all the different sculpts out there on the market? Have you seen every faceup type, every concept, every matchup of wig and eyes and eyelash? Can you tell every Fairyland doll apart while doing a headstand? Come to this gameshow! If you guess enough right, you'll win a prize! 1 hour 15 minutes runtime. No fees.  

Don't be that Gaijin By Leslie Plank- Demo/Lecture- This is an introduction to kimono and kitsuke (the art and style of dressing in kimono), with an emphasis on the basics of kimono dressing as they pertain to BJD. Participants are encouraged to bring their dolls and kimono ensembles for discussion and assistance in dressing including lying a traditional obi musubi (knot).  1 hour run time. No fees.

Intro to Props with Polymer Clay By Ros B/One Thyrd- Lecture/Discussion and Q&A. Ever wanted to make that perfect thing you just can't find for your doll? From texturing, sculpting, and using molds to blushing, baking, painting, and sealing, this introduction to working with polymer clay includes types, tools, methods, and uses! Bring questions. 1 hour runtime. No Fees

Realistic Flora for Dolls by Ensatiny- Workshop. How to make realistic looking plants for your miniature scenes. We'll discuss techniques and materials for making plants at scale for dolls, and you'll make a plant in the scale of your choice to take home. This class may be messy, so dress accordingly, or bring an apron to cover your clothes. I'll have some aprons on hand, but not enough for everyone. 2 hour runtime. $5 fee (accepts cash, cards, venmo, paypal) Please sign up here

Fun with Photoshop with Stardreamer Studios- Lecture/Demo- Come learn some fun photoshop techniques! Learn how to change the color of your doll's skin, create, some cool effects, add a nifty backdrop, add some stamps to your photos and other little tricks. 1 hour runtime. No Fees.


The Original BJD Couture Speed Race- Hosted by Lori of Unstrung Hero. The BJD Couture Speed Race returns yet again! Contestants are given a theme, access to random supplies and instructed to make an outfit/ accessories and more in an allotted time frame. no sewing skills needed, just bring yourself and a naked doll!

DIY Sandal Making-  Hosted by The Raven's Nest. We will make a pair of sandals made to fit your doll's feet. This is a great starting point to see if you'll enjoy making shoes for your doll. We are working with sharp scissors and tacky glue so be prepared to get a little messy. 

Manufacturing Magic: How BJDs are made- Hosted by Miranda. Join Miranda, owner of US-based casting company, Miranda of Cali LLC, for a fun and energetic tour through the process of bringing your favorite collectibles to life! In this hour, Miranda will reveal some behind-the-scenes magic about how BJDs, and other collectibles, are made. For the artists in the audience, there will also be discussion about how to ensure business success when stepping from creative development into production!

Eye Making Panel with Marz Barz-  You will be given one pair of resin eyes and all the decorations and paints to decorate the iris. Then we'll take UV set resin to make the lens. This is a make and take style of panel. If there is time and enough supplies you can make extra eyes. 

Fun with Iron-ons- 
This demo showcases "iron on" products and unique ways to use them to create or embellish doll accouterments. There will be opportunities for audience participation, as well as a handout, listing each product used with a reminder of how we used it. Attendees will be able to use these newfound skills in countless creative ways, on an infinite number of projects (clothing, props, photo backdrops, etc.)
