Meet our staff!
Resin Rose was started in 2014, with the first show in 2015. While we have had some staff come and go
over the years,  our goal has remained the same. Have a fun filled weekend focused on the dolls, doll artists, clothing, eye, wig, and accessory makers and everything else that goes into making the dolls we love.
We also use the event to help fund local charities and our paid raffle tickets go towards the charitable donation we make each year. We are a registered 501(c)3 non-profit organization.

2015: A Day at the Derby
The first Resin Rose, a one day event.

A Day at the Derby was Horse racing/race track themed to fit with the event venue. It was the only event without a themed poster as it was our first show.

2016: Dollpocalypse- The Resining
The first 3-day Resin Rose
​April 15th-17th
"Dollpocalypse - The Resining, celebrating all things post apocalyptic. Perhaps your idea of the dollpocalypse is filled with angels and demons fighting for control of Earth. Or maybe it is filled with zombies searching for resin brains. Maybe it is kit bashed cars in epic chases fighting for fuel and water. Or perhaps it is robots and cyborgs dominating humanity, or maybe just cleaning up after us. Whichever way the dollpocalypse goes, be ready to show us your best interpretations."

" Dollcade- Video Games! Celebrating our love of dolls and games from the oldest console to our favorite PC and phone apps. Whether you approach dolls with the, "Gotta catch them all!" mentality or live in an 8-bit fantasy, whichever game is your favorite, be ready to show us your best interpretations.""

2018: A Doll Odyssey
August 17th-19th
"A Doll Odyssey- Scifi! Bring out your alien blasters and sonic screwdrivers. Pack up the Millennium Falcon for a trip across the cosmos to Pandora where you'll meet a Vulcan and drink only the finest Pan Galactic Gargle Blaster.  We're going to places never explored by Dollkind in a galaxy far far away, so brush off your communicators, polish your rocket packs, dawn your finest bow tie and get ready for more science puns than you can handle."

​2019: Monster Mash
​August 16th-18th
"Monster Mash- all things monsters, haunted, spooky and scary. Channel your inner Boris Karloff, find your favorite doll to play Anabelle and channel your inner ghost hunter or vampire slayer! We want to see all things that go bump in the night, hide in the shadows or make your skin crawl!"

2020-2022: Fairy Tales
Our 2020 show was postponed for 2020/21, then held online in 2022 due to the global pandemic.
"Fairy Tales- Fairy tales.  Beware The Big Bad Wolf, and leave a trail of crumbs so you don't get lost in the forrest! This year's theme is Fairy Tales. Everything from princesses in towers with long locks of hair to those more Grim and dark with mermaids turned to sea foam, and children lured away by witches with sweets! Bring out your poisoned apples and glass slippers. 2020 will be full of whimsy and delight."

"A day at the Cafe- Indulge in your Coffee shop/Barista fantasy, live out that retro Coffee shop or café experience. Mini foods, hot coffee, friendships and more. See you in 2023 for our most deliciously themed show yet!"
