Bling Your Ita Bag
Want to carry your dolls around in style? Bring your cat-backpack, ita bag, or any other type of clear carrying case and get crafty with us. We’ll show you ways to make your bag both more stylish and safer for your doll! Craft supplies will be provided, but feel free to bring your own, too!

BJD Couture Speed Race
Game on! Players will be given 45 minutes to create an outfit for their doll using unconventional materials. At some point, a twist will be introduced and players must adapt to the new conditions of the challenge. The rules are arbitrary and the points don't matter, but we promise it will be fun, and the winner gets a prize!

BJD Photo Critique & Tips
In this panel, we’ll look at various BJD photos and offer kind, constructive criticism to suggest how they could be improved. We’ll also discuss the artistic direction and process behind taking BJD photos. Audience participation will be encouraged, but please remember to keep it kind and productive.

Decorating a Parasol
Decorate your own Japanese paper parasol for your doll. Parasol, paint, fabric, glue, and other supplies will be provided. On the signup form, select from one of three parasol sizes available.

Decorate Donuts and Discuss DIY Dolls
Decorate your own (PLA-printed) donuts as we discuss 3D printed dolls and doll props. You’ll be able to view examples of unique printed dolls we made and learn how you can get started making your own. This is a low cost of entry to the doll hobby and offers the opportunity to make things that are unique.

Ever wanted to make a diorama for your dolls, but don't have the space? Come learn some tips and tricks on making your own dioramas that come apart when you're done to store away flat! Techniques can scale to suit a range of sizes and budgets.

Learn how to bring your miniature furniture designs to life as our panelist demos the process of turning a sketch into a realized 3D model. Perfect for beginners or those with some 3D modeling experience.

Oral History in the BJD Community in the Age of the Internet
From the hobby’s earliest days to now, an essential part of our experience as BJD collectors is the shared oral history, crafts, and lessons we’ve passed from one collector to another — like box openings and doll photography, to identifying unknown dolls, and attending doll conventions. We will discuss the origins of some of these practices, where we have preserved our history before, and how the fragmentation of social media platforms has shaped our communities on a global and local scale.
