2021 Mascot Contest rules and info
We are holding a mascot contest! We're looking for a mascot to represent Resin Rose and BJDs. The mascot needs to be representative of both the expo and the doll community we all know and love! The mascot should not be theme specific to this years event, but something that can be use across all our event themes with minor, to no changes (think costume or prop changes!), It can be a person, humanoid, or animal/ creature there is NO LIMIT!
Entries will be accepted until 11:59PM (PDT) on March 15st 2021. (Extended from march 1st!)

You may enter as many times as you want but you can only win a maximum of one prize.

Rules:
1. The Work Must Be Original:
You must be the creator of the art and image file you or your approved representative submit to the competition. Your art must be your own original concept and not a copy of anyone else's copyrighted material. (If your image infringes upon another's copyright it will be disqualified.) Upon submitting your work, to this competition, you are solely responsible for any legal recourse if infringement on copyrighted materials is found or claimed.
2. Images and themes not allowed:
Excessive Gore, Nudity, or images of Pornographic nature.
3. Copyright:
The artist retains all copyrights to their artwork without exception.
4. Non-exclusive Permissions:
By entering this art competition, you are granting us a non-exclusive perpetual license to reproduce images of your submitted artwork on our Resinrosebjd.com website, in our newsletters, on facebook, Tumblr, Instagram , and other social media platforms, as well as future promotional materials or merchandise ( including but not limited too, swag bags, buttons, charms, badges and other small event memorabilia). The character/mascot may be reproduced/reworked to fit the shows theme for future shows.
Artworks will not be used for any other purpose than that which is stated here. All entries will be displayed on the resinrosebjd.com website, through the newsletter, facebook, instagram and tumblr with a special post for the winning submission.
5. File Sizes and Formats:

The acceptable file formats are: .jpg and png. Please make sure your image is clear, and clean. Well defined and easily readable/understandable concepts are encouraged.
6. Contest Start/End Date and Judging:
Contest starts on (12/14/2020) at (12:00 AM PDT) and all entries must be submitted by the contest end date on (03/15/2021) at (11:59pm PDT) Any entries submitted after such time will not qualify. Judging and announcement of First, Second and Third place will be announced on/by (03/31/2021). All decisions made by the judges are final.
7. Prizes:
Grand prize of 1 Inkari small size Alpaca (color TBA), and a Resin Rose Merchandize pack (may include, but is not limited too, t-shirt, bag, buttons, stickers, charms, +more) valued at 50$
Physical prizes may be picked up at the show.
8. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW.
9. No Purchase necessary to enter. You do not need to attend the Resin Rose BJD Expo event to participate.
10. We Reserve the right to modify the contest and prizes at anytime.
